This blog serves to provide the facts pertaining to Oella's first installation of a Solar System.
The Oella HOA Board had voted to uphold the ARC's decision based on protecting "the value of the Oella Community and to maintain aesthetic harmony" and thereby thumbing their nose at the Maryland Solar Laws meant to protect homeowners rights to access clean Solar Power from being overrun by oppressive and outdated HOA thinking.

The Oella HOA Board reversed it's position after threat of legal action and still maintains the false belief they still have the right to dictate where a Solar System can go on Non-Historic Oella homes.
